Night Blossom

Night Blossom 2

Cold streetlight

Blinding white,

Like moonlit snow

Through evening shadow,

Illuminates the night

Blossom fairy lights.

A dazzling gleam,

An urban moonbeam,

On gilded petals

Like bright silver metal;

To me it seems

An ethereal dream.

Dainty and fragile,

I pause awhile

To admire the bouquet,

This diamond display,

That rouses a smile

On my homeward mile.

Saw this beautiful tree on my return commute at the end of last week; I had to stop to take a snap!
