Clustered snowdrops,

Daintily dressed in their spotless skirts,

Huddle together

Against February’s final fierce frost.

Twigs studded

With pearly blossom buds,

Bitten by the breeze;

Efflorescent canopy aquiver.

A backdrop of celestial cerulean,

Softly brushed

With hints of candy floss,

Heralding new birth.

Curious daffodils peek,

Nestled at the foot of guardian trees,

Reflecting the golden sun;

A visual fanfare

For the coming of Spring.
